Reworked for print-on-demand distribution. This involved: |
- Use of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology
on the text.
- Scanning original photographs and inter-negatives
and enhancing them in PhotoShop.
- Recreating the maps for better readability in the
new format.
- Creating a new cover.
- Obtaining new International Standard Book Number
(ISBN).
- Obtaining new Library of Congress Number (LOCN).
- Creating digital files for electronic transfer to
the printer.
- Setting up a web site for promotional purposes
