At the beginning of this week I became a septuagenarian. Since I are one now (sic.), I figured I should look up the spelling. Good thing I did, since I didn’t expect the “u.” I guess I should have, since the Greek translation of the Old testament, reportedly translated by 70 of the best Greek and Hebrew scholars at the time, is called the Septuagint, abbreviated LXX.

As Dan Hoppy stated on FaceBook yesterday: “I thought growing old would take longer.”
